How AscendHub works

Every feature, what it actually does, and the setup steps to switch it on.

Commission reconciliation & recovery

Upload a carrier statement, map its columns once per carrier, and AscendHub matches every line against your book. Short-paid and missing commissions land in a recovery ledger you can move from flagged → disputed → recovered, with a one-click dispute packet for the carrier.

  1. 01Commissions → Reconcile Statement, then upload the carrier CSV.
  2. 02Map the carrier’s column headers once — the mapping is saved to that carrier.
  3. 03Resolve any unmatched lines, then import to update your expected-vs-received ledger.
  4. 04Work the recovery ledger; the dashboard reports dollars in dispute and dollars recovered.

Quote → application → underwriting → bound

Quotes build into a drop-ticket application with an e-signature link. Each application walks a single tracked path — out for signature, signed, submitted, underwriting, approved, bound — and binding opens the policy in your book so renewals and commissions pick it up automatically.

  1. 01Quoting → build indicative carrier options and send the quote.
  2. 02Applications → New Application, then Send to sign (link is emailed and copied).
  3. 03Advance the application as the carrier moves it; record outstanding underwriting requirements.
  4. 04Bind with the issued policy number — the policy is created with a renewal date one year out.

Two-way texting (Twilio)

Send texts from Calls & Texts and receive replies in the same thread. Inbound messages are verified against Twilio’s request signature, attached to the matching client, logged to their timeline, and notify the assigned producer. STOP opts a client out of drip sequences automatically.

  1. 01Add your Twilio Account SID and sending number in Settings → Integrations.
  2. 02Store your Twilio Auth Token as the TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN environment secret.
  3. 03In Twilio, set “A message comes in” to the inbound webhook URL shown on that card (HTTP POST).
  4. 04Texts and replies then appear as one thread per client on Calls & Texts.

Renewals & automated sequences

Every policy carries its own X-date. Renewals groups the book into 14, 30, 60 and 90-day buckets so the most urgent work is first, and the nightly scan fires renewal touches and tasks at each milestone. Cross-sell drips run the same way off bound policies.

  2. 02Renewals shows each bucket with premium at risk; mark renewed to clear it.
  3. 03Workflows holds the email/SMS sequences that fire at each milestone.

AscendHub AI

The assistant works inside your book rather than beside it: it creates and updates leads, drafts and sends client emails, builds quotes and invoices, schedules activities, and surfaces next-best-action and commission anomalies. Every write is attributed to your workspace and confirmed before anything destructive.

  1. 01Open AscendHub AI from the sidebar, or use the assistant on Leads, Pipeline, Activities and Invoices.
  2. 02Ask for work in plain English — “draft a renewal email for the Nguyen auto policy”.
  3. 03Review the action ledger to see exactly what it changed.

Integrations & migration

Gmail and Outlook for email, Google Calendar and Calendly for scheduling, Twilio for calls and texts, Stripe for billing, and Zapier for everything else — including documented CSV migration paths out of AgencyBloc, AgencyZoom, EZLynx, HawkSoft, NowCerts, AMS360 and Applied Epic.

  2. 02Leads → Import to bring your book across, with one-click rollback of any import.
